I was wondering about the storms that come in on the islands. Do they have hurricanes, cyclones, typhoons? I know they are all the same things just made under different bodies of water, but can they get hit with all of them? Also, do they have tornadoes down there?

- Ms. Maureen Barrett
- Hola and welcome! My name is Maureen Barrett. I am an 8th grade life science teacher at Harrington Middle School in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. Each year I try to participate in some kind of scientific expedition to learn more about science. These trips allow me to work side-by-side with scientists and other experts in places all around the globe. This year's field trip is to the Galapagos Islands. Please join me as I travel to Ecuador's Enchanted Islands in South America. Together, we'll learn about the amazing wildlife inhabiting these volcanic islands.
